Median age of all residents. Neighborhood figures are estimated from the Census age groups; ZIP and citywide figures are the Census Bureau's published medians. Figures are five-year American Community Survey estimates for 2020-2024. Each neighborhood's median age is estimated from the Census count of residents in each age group, added up across the neighborhood's census tracts; the San Francisco row is the Census Bureau's published median. Small groups in small neighborhoods carry wide margins of error, so a gap of a point or two between neighborhoods is not meaningful. Neighborhoods with fewer than 500 homes are left out.
